Writing: Narrative Writing - Using a combination of pictures, words, and dictation to tell a story. The students will be able to write a narrative about our class field trip.
- Rehearsing thoughts - clarifying what students want to say. After students know what they want to say, count how many words are used to make that sentence.
- Practice listening for the letter sounds they hear in words. Students will be encouraged to write at least one letter they hear. - Early writers may only be able to write a beginning sound independently. The sentence "I went to a store " might be written, IWTS.
