Dear Parents,
The children had a great time at the zoo! I have to thank Mrs. Morgan, Mrs. McNamara, Mr. Allex, and Mr. Perry for joining us and providing extra hands to help ensure the safety of our students. Thank you to the families that have been reading regularly with your child and returning your book envelope each week so that your child can select a new book on his/her reading level. We will continue with book envelopes for much of the 4th quarter. Hope you have had a chance to start working on the March Homework calendar. Completing homework allows your child to practice skills the class is learning in school, it also helps parents see the skills the children are acquiring and it allows your child to attend the homework luncheon! Be sure to have your child complete all tasks in the homework journal for review. Congratulations to the most recent members of the 100 Club! Nigil Gabriel Skylar Michael J. This week I will be assessing the children to to see just how much they have learned and grown in this 3rd quarter. The students will be engaged in many independent math and ELA activities this week. If you ever have any questions or concerns related to your child, know that I am open and available to set up a conference, in-person or via phone. Just send me an e-mail or write a note in your child's agenda. Upcoming Dates (School Website for Details) 3/14/18 Early Release (Wednesday) 3/16/18 Taste of the Park (Friday) 3/21/18 Kindergarten Registration and New First Grader Registration Curriculum
