GRATEFUL

READING
Please continue to support your child's academic growth with daily reading now and throughout the summer. It is important that your child is listening to good models for reading. You can read to your child and you can also allow him/her to listen to reading at Storyline Online and Just Books Read Aloud. It is equally important that they are practicing reading too. Check out the Cobb County Libraries' Summer Reading Program and websites like Raz Kids to provide opportunities that encourage reading.
REMINDERS
Please return the following ASAP (if you have not yet done so):
1. Permission slips for ART Day - We need these for your child to participate in the fun activities.
2. First grade enrollment cards
3. Self-Addressed the large yellow envelope and attach 3 stamps so the school can mail your child's report card home
RISING KINDERS
Do you or someone you know someone have a child who will be starting kindergarten in the fall? If yes, we would LOVE for you to tell them all about our Kindergarten Camp. Kindergarten camp will help our rising students get an idea of what "big kid school" is all about! For more information about the camp and how to register, please contact the front office.
